Been in Texarkana for 1 year, 8 months, and 10 days. Flyyyyying by I tell ya.
Next thing I know it'll be the end of 2010 and we'll be PCSing again. PCS = military move, fyi. Hoping to get back to good old California. Missing those parents & sister of mine. And of course, the very dear friends I left behind (but didn't forget!).
Took some required classes at the local college here & fell in love with science.
Prior to that, I had this sort-of "jaded" idea towards science in general.
Never really had the chance to enjoy it in high school. But we won't go there.
Aced Bio II, A&P I & II, and Pharmacology. Thrilled. Decided on nursing.
Currently waiting for an acceptance letter in the mail & going n-u-t-s.

English major gone the nursing path. Never in a million years.
Charlie turned 29 this May.
Can't believe I'm going to be married to a 30 year old next year.
Don't tell him I said that though. :)
Geez that man is good to me. Best thing God ever had planned for my life.
Thor (our 87-pound boxer) is 18 months old. He's a beast. Spoiled rotten. Our "kid" for now, I guess you could say. Man I love that dog.
Still working for an Allstate agent here. [edit.] Been here since October 2007. That's all for now. :)
Almost forgot. I've kept 20 pounds off doing Weight Watchers.
Working on the last 20! :) It feels good.
Doing 4 miles of walking/jogging almost every day at the local park.
Oh. Bought a Canon Rebel Xsi back in December. Learning how to use it properly.
Borrowed my neighbors' hydrangeas & took some pics. Love them.
